Sweet Toast Rolled Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Roll-Ups

01 - 3 tablespoons melted butter
02 - 10 slices of soft white bread, crusts trimmed
03 - 2 tablespoons of ground cinnamon
04 - 3 tablespoons brown sugar

→ For the French Toast Coating

05 - 1 tablespoon of milk
06 - ½ teaspoon vanilla
07 - 3 large eggs
08 - ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

→ For Cooking

09 - 2 to 3 tablespoons of butter for frying

# Instructions:

01 - Slice off the edges of the bread, then flatten each piece by rolling it with a rolling pin until thin.
02 - In a small bowl, stir together the butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar until it's smooth and spreadable.
03 - Spread the buttery cinnamon mixture evenly on the flattened bread but leave a small border. Roll up each piece tightly and press the ends gently to stick together.
04 - Beat the eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and milk together in a shallow bowl until they’re evenly mixed.
05 - Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture, then cook in the pan, flipping them until they're golden brown all over—this takes about 2-3 minutes.

# Notes:

01 - Soft bread makes rolling a breeze.
02 - Don’t let the rolls sit too long in the egg mix.
03 - You can prep these ahead and reheat when needed.
04 - Store in the freezer up to a month.
