Sausage Gravy Breakfast (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Sausage Gravy Ingredients

01 - 1 lb package of breakfast sausage
02 - 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
03 - 2 cups whole milk
04 - Pinch of ground black pepper

→ Base for Pizza

05 - 1 12-inch ready-made pizza crust
06 - Optional: 1 tbsp of olive oil

→ Egg Mixture

07 - 6 large eggs
08 - 1/4 cup milk
09 - Nonstick cooking spray

→ Cheese Topping

10 - 1 cup (or more) shredded cheddar cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Brown the sausage in a large pan, breaking it up as it cooks, about 5-7 minutes. Stir the flour into the sausage. Slowly pour in the milk while stirring nonstop until it thickens, roughly 10 minutes. Add a little pepper to taste.
02 - Turn your oven to 400°F to preheat. Lay the pizza crust on a baking sheet and, if you like, brush it with some olive oil. Spread half of the gravy evenly over the crust.
03 - Beat the eggs with the milk in a bowl. Spray a pan with cooking spray, then cook the eggs over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes or until they're set.
04 - Layer the scrambled eggs on top of the gravy-covered crust. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese generously over the eggs.
05 - Pop the pizza in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes until the crust is crispy and the cheese is bubbly.
06 - Take the pizza out of the oven and give it a couple of minutes to cool down. Slice it up and serve warm.

# Notes:

01 - Feel free to use homemade pizza crust if you like.
02 - Add some green onions or a drizzle of hot sauce to kick things up a notch.
03 - Makes a great option for brunch or evening breakfast vibes.
