No-Bake Banana Split Cake (Printable Version)

Whipped cream, fresh fruit, and a crumbly graham cracker base in a chilled, no-cook delight.

# What You'll Need:

→ Crust

01 - 50 g white sugar
02 - 115 g melted unsalted butter
03 - 200 g graham cracker crumbs

→ Cream Cheese Layer

04 - 5 ml vanilla extract
05 - 240 g powdered sugar
06 - 115 g softened unsalted butter
07 - 225 g cream cheese that's been left out to soften

→ Fruit Layers

08 - 150 g diced fresh strawberries
09 - 560 g canned crushed pineapple, very well drained
10 - 3–4 ripe bananas, cut up

→ Topping

11 - 12–16 maraschino cherries
12 - 60 ml chocolate syrup
13 - 60 g chopped walnuts or pecans (your choice)
14 - 500 ml homemade whipped cream or whipped topping

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Slice into even pieces. Keep it cold and dish it up for a sweet treat everyone will love.
02 - Lay cherries on top and swirl on the chocolate syrup. Toss the nuts on (or skip them if you don't want any). Pop on the lid or wrap it up and chill the whole thing in the fridge for at least 4 hours so it firms up. Overnight is even better.
03 - Now grab your whipped topping and gently smooth it over everything, making sure every spot is covered.
04 - Scatter the chopped strawberries evenly over the pineapple layer.
05 - Arrange your banana slices in one layer across that filling. Scatter the drained pineapple evenly over the bananas.
06 - Spoon your fluffy cheese mix right onto the cold crust. Spread it out nice and even with a spatula.
07 - Beat the softened butter together with the cream cheese until smooth. Add in your powdered sugar and vanilla, then whip until light and airy.
08 - Dump your cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl and mix until it feels like damp sand. Press this into the bottom of a 23 by 33 cm dish. Pop it in the fridge so it can set while you work on the next part.

# Additional Notes:

01 - It actually holds together better if you make it a day early. Letting it chill helps the layers stick and brings out the flavor.
02 - It’ll keep in the fridge (covered) for up to 3 days.
03 - Feel free to swap in berries or fresh pineapple if you like. Just use what looks good at the store.
04 - Looking to switch things up? Try making the base with Oreo cookies instead of graham crackers for a richer taste.
