Cheesy Cornflake Potato Casserole (Printable Version)

Rich, cheesy potatoes under a crisp layer of cornflakes. The ultimate cozy side for any table.

# What You'll Need:

→ Topping

01 - 4 tablespoons melted butter
02 - 3 cups cornflakes, smashed up really well

→ Potato Mixture

03 - 2 cups shredded cheddar (the mild kind)
04 - 1 teaspoon kosher salt
05 - 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
06 - 1/2 cup butter, already melted
07 - 10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup
08 - 16 ounces sour cream
09 - 32 ounces frozen southern-style hash browns, thawed out

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Pop the dish in and bake for about 45 to 50 minutes. Take it out once it's bubbling with a great golden top. Let it cool off for a few before eating.
02 - Stir together your crushed cornflakes with melted butter. Make sure to coat them all, then cover the potato mix with this crunchy stuff.
03 - Toss your hash browns with sour cream, soup, your cheese, seasonings, and butter. Put that all in the greased baking dish.
04 - Fire up your oven to 350°F. Spray or grease a 9x13 dish, then check that your potatoes are thawed and ready.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Go with other cheeses if you want
02 - Feel free to swap in fresh potatoes for frozen
03 - Cornflakes are best crushed up extra fine
