Beef Vegetable Stew (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/4 cups of beef broth.
02 - 1 pound of ground beef, lean.
03 - 1 can (15 oz) of tomato sauce.
04 - 1 tablespoon of molasses.
05 - 1 teaspoon each of garlic powder and dried basil.
06 - 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, low-sodium.
07 - 1 small onion, chopped into fine pieces.
08 - 1 1/2 cups of frozen corn.
09 - 1 1/2 cups of frozen vegetables, mixed.

# Instructions:

01 - Let the frozen veggies sit out while you prep everything else.
02 - Cook the beef with basil, garlic powder, and chopped onion. Stir until there’s no pink left, then drain out the grease.
03 - Mix in the tomato sauce, broth, molasses, soy sauce, corn, and veggies. Heat until it starts bubbling.
04 - Turn the heat down low and cook for 15 to 20 minutes, giving it a stir now and then.

# Notes:

01 - Stick with standard beef broth, not the low-sodium kind.
02 - Generously feeds 5 grown-ups.
03 - Each portion is around 1 3/4 cups.
