Tasty Beef and Potatoes (Print Version)

01 - 3 medium potatoes, diced and peeled
02 - 1 onion, chopped small
03 - 1 red bell pepper, chopped
04 - 2 tbsp olive oil
05 - 1 lb ground beef
06 - 1 tsp cumin
07 - 1 tsp paprika
08 - 3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
09 - Salt and pepper as needed
10 - 1/4 cup beef broth or water (optional)
11 - Sliced green onions for topping

# Instructions:

01 - Pour olive oil into a large skillet or Dutch oven and let it heat up on medium heat.
02 - Toss in minced garlic and the onion. Stir and cook for a couple of minutes until the onion softens and smells great.
03 - Add the ground beef to the pan. Break it up as it cooks, and stir for about 5–7 minutes until it's no longer pink.
04 - Mix in the potato cubes and bell pepper pieces. Sprinkle with cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well so everything is coated.
05 - If the potatoes need extra moisture, add beef broth or water. Cover with a lid, turn the heat down, and let it cook for 15–20 minutes, stirring a couple of times.
06 - Take off the lid and continue cooking for a few minutes to let any leftover liquid evaporate.
07 - Taste it and adjust with salt or pepper to suit your preference.
08 - Scatter some sliced green onions on top before bringing it to the table. Serve alongside crusty bread or your favorite salad!
