Adorable Bunny Buns (Printable Version)

Bunny-inspired buns that are breezy to bake with kids. Perfectly sweet and cute for any Easter event!

# What You'll Need:

→ Dough

01 - 1 cup (150g) self-rising flour
02 - 1 cup (270g) plain yogurt
03 - Butter for greasing the pan
04 - A small pinch of salt (1/4 teaspoon)

→ Optional Toppings

05 - Melted butter to add a glossy finish
06 - Edible marker to draw fun faces

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Set your oven to 180°C (360°F) so it can warm up. In a bowl, toss in the yogurt, flour, and salt. Mix until you get a soft, workable dough. If it’s sticky, toss in extra flour a little at a time until it handles easily.
02 - Split the dough into 6 chunks (roughly 70g each). For every chunk, roll a bigger ball (45g) for the face, and shape two smaller pieces (12g each) into little sausage-like forms for ears.
03 - Coat an oven-safe dish well with butter, so nothing sticks. Lay the 6 larger dough balls spaced out for the bunny heads. Gently press two ear shapes onto each head to finish assembly.
04 - If you want shiny buns, give the tops a light wash with melted butter before baking.
05 - Slide the dish into your already hot oven and bake for 20 minutes or until lightly golden up top and baked through. Take them out to cool down a bit before you eat.
06 - Serve while still warm for the best texture. If you feel creative, doodle bunny faces using an edible marker. Reheat leftovers in the microwave for about 10 seconds to freshen them up.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Out of self-rising flour? No problem, just mix 1 cup of regular flour with 1 teaspoon of baking powder.
02 - This dough keeps well in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze it for as long as 4 months.
