Sweet Salty Crackers (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 sticks of butter (1 cup).
02 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
03 - 1 teaspoon salt.
04 - 1 cup packed brown sugar.
05 - 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract.
06 - 1 pack of oyster crackers (9 ounces).

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven on to 350°F. Lay parchment paper on your baking sheet, then position the crackers so they’re spread out evenly.
02 - In a saucepan, melt the butter. Toss in the sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla, and mix until it melts. Boil for a couple of minutes until it thickens.
03 - Pour the caramel all over the crackers and use a spoon if needed to make sure everything’s coated. Shake salt over the top.
04 - Put it in the oven for 7 to 9 minutes, keeping an eye out so it doesn’t burn.
05 - Wait until it’s fully cooled. Then break into pieces and stash in a container with a tight lid.

01 - Swap in gluten-free crackers if preferred.
02 - Keep a close watch while it bakes so it doesn’t burn.
03 - Keep it fresh by storing in a tightly sealed container.
