Buffalo Chicken Alfredo Penne (Printable Version)

Creamy and zesty buffalo sauce meets tender pasta, chicken, and cheese in this easy-to-make dish.

# What You'll Need:

→ Pasta & Protein

01 - 2 cups shredded, cooked chicken
02 - 1 pound of penne pasta

→ Base Sauce

03 - 2 cloves of garlic, minced
04 - 1/4 cup melted butter
05 - 2 cups of heavy cream
06 - 1/2 cup of buffalo sauce

→ Seasonings & Cheeses

07 - 1 teaspoon of Italian herbs blend
08 - A pinch of salt and pepper
09 - 1/2 cup of mozzarella, shredded
10 - 1 cup of grated Parmesan

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Fill a big pot with water, add salt, and bring it to a boil. Cook the penne just firm enough, then drain it. Leave it aside for later.
02 - Heat butter in a wide skillet over medium. Toss in garlic and stir until it smells amazing. Add the cream, buffalo sauce, and Italian herbs, then let it simmer gently for 5-7 minutes.
03 - Gradually add the Parmesan and mozzarella into the sauce, stirring constantly until the cheese melts smoothly and the mixture thickens.
04 - Stir the chicken and pasta into the cheesy sauce. Coat everything completely and give it a good mix before serving.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For less spice, use less buffalo sauce or switch to mild hot sauce.
02 - Swap in other cheeses if you want a new flavor.
03 - Mushrooms can take the place of chicken for a meatless twist.
