01 - ⅔ cup butter, room temperature
02 - 2 cups light brown sugar
03 - 1⅓ cups white sugar
04 - 4 eggs
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - 1 tablespoon maple syrup
07 - 2 cups crunchy peanut butter

08 - 1½ teaspoons baking soda
09 - 6 cups old fashioned oats

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F.
02 - In a large bowl, beat together the butter and sugars. Add the eggs, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and baking soda, mixing until smooth.
03 - Stir in the crunchy peanut butter until fully combined.
04 - Gradually mix in the oats, stirring until evenly distributed.
05 - Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
06 - Press the dough evenly into the bottom of a large baking sheet or jelly roll pan.
07 - Sprinkle the m&m candies on top and gently press them into the dough.
08 - Bake for 16-17 minutes, until the bars are lightly browned and the surface is just past looking wet. Allow the bars to cool completely to set up before cutting.
