Cheesy Spaghetti Casserole (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - Marinara sauce
02 - Chopped onion
03 - Minced garlic
04 - Italian sausage meat
05 - Optional red pepper flakes
06 - Uncooked spaghetti

→ Cheese Layer

07 - Ricotta cheese
08 - Garlic powder
09 - Softened cream cheese
10 - Fresh grated parmesan
11 - Dried oregano

→ Topping

12 - Shredded mozzarella

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F, then stir together the cheese mixture.
02 - Brown the sausage and onions together. Add garlic at the end. Boil the pasta, leaving it just a bit undercooked.
03 - Toss the pasta with marinara sauce and the cooked sausage mixture.
04 - Start with half of the pasta mix, then spread the cheese layer. Add the rest of the pasta, and sprinkle mozzarella over the top.
05 - Bake covered for 30 minutes. Take the cover off and broil until the top is golden brown.

# Notes:

01 - Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
02 - The cheese spread can be a little messy—it’s fine!
03 - Extra sauce works great to keep any leftovers from drying out.
