# What You'll Need:

01 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla flavoring.
02 - 1 cup sugar for sweetness.
03 - 1 tablespoon grated lemon peel.
04 - 4 big eggs.
05 - 1 cup of flour for the crust.
06 - 1/4 cup flour for the filling.
07 - 1/3 cup powdered sugar, keep extra for sprinkling.
08 - 1/2 cup buttery goodness, melted.
09 - 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt.
10 - 1/2 cup lemon juice, freshly squeezed.

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F and prepare the pan with parchment paper.
02 - Stir together butter, vanilla, flour, powdered sugar, and salt. Press the mixture into the bottom of your pan.
03 - Bake for 18-20 minutes until the edges are lightly browned. Poke small holes with a fork.
04 - Combine zest with sugar, then whisk in flour, eggs, and lemon juice. Mix until smooth.
05 - Spread the filling evenly over the warm crust. Bake again for about 20-25 minutes until set.
06 - Let it cool for an hour on the counter, then chill for two hours in the fridge.
