Zesty peppers loaded with cheese, wrapped in bacon, and baked till crispy. Simple to make and sure to satisfy.

# What You'll Need:

→ For the Filling

01 - 2 green onions, finely diced
02 - 8 oz softened cream cheese
03 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
04 - 8 large jalapeños, split in half lengthwise and deseeded
05 - 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
06 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder

→ For Wrapping

07 - 16 strips of bacon

→ Optional Garnish

08 - 2 tablespoons parsley, freshly chopped

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and cover a baking tray with some foil or parchment paper for hassle-free cleanup.
02 - In a large bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, diced green onions, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Stir until smooth.
03 - Carefully fill each jalapeño half with the creamy cheese blend, making sure it's packed snugly so it stays put.
04 - Take a piece of bacon and wrap it around each stuffed jalapeño half. Use a toothpick to hold it in place if needed.
05 - Spread the bacon-wrapped jalapeños out on the baking tray, leaving a little space between them to cook evenly.
06 - Pop the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 20–25 minutes. The bacon should get crispy, and the cheese will turn gooey and bubbly.
07 - Take them out of the oven and let them rest for a minute or two. Add parsley on top if you like before serving.

# Additional Notes:

01 - If you want less heat, make sure to remove all seeds and the white parts inside the jalapeños.
02 - Want to elevate the flavor? Brush a little honey or brown sugar on the bacon in the last few minutes of baking.
