Sweet Spicy Honey Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken Prep

01 - Two skinless, boneless chicken breasts
02 - A dash of salt and black pepper
03 - 1 tablespoon of olive oil
04 - Half a cup of honey
05 - A quarter cup of soy sauce
06 - 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
07 - 1 teaspoon of black pepper, ground
08 - Half a teaspoon of powdered garlic
09 - Half a teaspoon of onion powder
10 - A quarter teaspoon of cayenne

→ Mac n’ Cheese Basics

11 - 8 ounces of elbow macaroni
12 - 2 tablespoons of butter
13 - 2 tablespoons plain flour
14 - 2 cups milk
15 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella
16 - 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
17 - Salt and pepper to your liking
18 - A handful of chopped parsley for the top

# Instructions:

01 - Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the chicken. Warm up a skillet on medium, add oil, and cook the chicken breasts until they're golden brown, about 6 to 7 minutes each side.
02 - Toss honey, soy sauce, vinegar, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and cayenne into the skillet. Simmer and let it thicken up for 2 or 3 minutes.
03 - Chop the cooked chicken into slices, toss them back in the pan, and coat them fully in the sauce.
04 - Boil the macaroni as per the instructions on the box. Meanwhile, melt butter in a medium pot and stir in the flour. Keep stirring for about a minute while it cooks.
05 - Pour milk little by little into the flour-butter mixture while whisking till it's smooth. Cook until it thickens, taking 2 or 3 minutes. Take it off the heat, then add both cheeses and stir until melted.
06 - Stir the macaroni into the cheese mixture. Put the honey pepper chicken slices on top and sprinkle parsley before serving.

01 - Fresh shredded cheese melts better and tastes amazing
02 - You can cook the chicken separately if needed
03 - Feel free to add more or less cayenne for spiciness
