Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers (Printable Version)

Chicken skewers glazed with buttery garlic parmesan, air-fried until juicy and golden, finished with lemon and parsley.

# What You'll Need:

→ Garlic Parmesan Butter

01 - 454 g salted butter, softened
02 - 5 cloves garlic, finely grated
03 - 50 g finely grated parmesan cheese
04 - 1 lemon, zest and juice
05 - 1 teaspoon salt
06 - 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
07 - 15 g fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional, for serving)

→ Chicken Skewers

08 - 1.36 kg boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 5 cm strips
09 - 2 teaspoons salt
10 - 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Melt the softened salted butter in a medium bowl. Add grated garlic, parmesan, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and red pepper flakes. Stir thoroughly until fully combined.
02 - Trim wooden skewers to fit your air fryer basket using poultry shears if necessary.
03 - Thread 6–7 pieces of chicken thigh strips tightly onto each prepared skewer. Continue until all chicken is skewered. Season both sides evenly with salt and black pepper.
04 - Using a basting brush, coat each chicken skewer thoroughly on all sides with the garlic parmesan butter.
05 - Arrange skewers in a single layer in the air fryer. Cook at 175°C for 5 minutes. Baste again, then cook for another 5 minutes. Baste once more, and cook for a final 5 minutes, totaling 15 minutes, until chicken is golden brown. Cook remaining batches in the same manner as needed.
06 - Pour any remaining garlic parmesan butter over cooked skewers. Garnish with fresh parsley and additional parmesan if desired. Accompany with lemon wedges.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Butter sauce may solidify slightly during preparation; this is normal and does not affect quality.
02 - Ensure wooden skewers are cut to fit your air fryer model to prevent burning.
