Pour oil into a pan or wok, heat it up. You can let it get smoky if using a wok, otherwise warming it is fine.

Pour in the beaten eggs and stir quickly until they start forming.

Throw the rice into the pan once your eggs are set but still a bit soft. Break apart any rice chunks as you mix.

Move everything to one side, pour the last bit of oil into the empty space along with the onions. Stir together with rice and eggs.

Drizzle sesame oil and soy sauce along the edges of the pan. Stir until rice looks brown and well-mixed. Remove from heat and enjoy right away!
