Egg and Sausage Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
02 - 1 cup milk
03 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - 6 large eggs
05 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
06 - 1 teaspoon salt
07 - 1 pound sausage (breakfast, spicy, or Italian)
08 - 1 cup cheddar cheese (or any shredded cheese you like)

→ Optional Add-ins

09 - 1/4 cup onions, diced (optional)
10 - 1/2 cup spinach, chopped (optional)
11 - 1/2 cup bell peppers, diced (optional)
12 - 2 cups bread chunks (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Crumble the sausage in a medium-heat pan and cook until browned all over. Once done, drain any grease and put it aside.
02 - In a big bowl, stir the eggs, milk, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper together until smooth.
03 - Grease your baking dish, then layer the crumbled sausage, cheese, and bread pieces (if adding). Toss in extra veggies like spinach, peppers, or onions if you’d like. Pour the egg mixture over everything, making sure it's even.
04 - Heat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the middle is firm and the top has a nice golden look.
05 - Let it sit for about 5 minutes to cool off a bit. Slice and serve while it’s still warm!

# Notes:

01 - Make it ahead! Put it all together the night before and simply bake in the morning.
02 - Play around with different cheeses, veggies, or meats to make it your own.
