Crumble the sausage in a medium-heat pan and cook until browned all over. Once done, drain any grease and put it aside.

In a big bowl, stir the eggs, milk, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper together until smooth.

Grease your baking dish, then layer the crumbled sausage, cheese, and bread pieces (if adding). Toss in extra veggies like spinach, peppers, or onions if you’d like. Pour the egg mixture over everything, making sure it's even.

Heat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the middle is firm and the top has a nice golden look.

Let it sit for about 5 minutes to cool off a bit. Slice and serve while it’s still warm!
