Mix instant yeast, sugar, and warm milk and set aside for 10 minutes to activate.

Combine flour, salt, warm water, and vegetable oil. Add the activated yeast mixture and knead the dough. Lightly coat with oil, wrap in plastic wrap, and cover to rest for 30 minutes.

Mix diced ham, shredded mozzarella, and ketchup. Set aside.

Uncover the dough, divide it into two portions, and roll each into a rectangular shape. Use a pizza cutter to divide and create small cuts along the longer side.

Add the filling onto the dough and roll it up. Line a baking tray with parchment paper, place the croissants, and cover to rest for 30 minutes. Repeat with the other half of the dough.

Preheat the oven to 390°F. Whisk the egg with oil and paprika powder. Use a basting brush to coat the croissants with the glaze. Optionally sprinkle with oregano.

Bake the croissants in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Allow to cool briefly before serving.
