Easy Salisbury Steak (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Meat Patties

01 - Ground beef (lean)
02 - Onion, chopped small
03 - Crumbled crackers (Saltines or Ritz)
04 - Egg, fresh
05 - Seasoned sage
06 - Pepper and salt to taste

→ Gravy

07 - Cooking oil (olive)
08 - Garlic, minced
09 - All-purpose flour
10 - Beef broth or stock
11 - Worcestershire sauce
12 - Salt and pepper as needed

# Instructions:

01 - Combine beef, egg, onion, crackers, sage, and seasonings. Shape into 4 oval pieces.
02 - On medium-high, fry patties in oil for about 4-5 minutes on each side. Take them out afterward.
03 - Sauté garlic in oil, stir in Worcestershire and flour, then slowly whisk in beef stock.
04 - Adjust seasoning, deglaze the pan, and let sauce cook until thicker.
05 - Put patties back in the pan and heat them in the sauce until done.

01 - Turkey works as a swap for beef.
02 - Keeps in the freezer for 3 months max.
03 - Use any kind of crackers instead of Ritz or Saltines.
