# What You'll Need:

→ Base

01 - 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
02 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
03 - 1/2 medium onion, chopped
04 - 2 tablespoons butter
05 - 1 tablespoon olive oil

→ Pasta & Liquids

06 - 1 cup heavy cream
07 - 2 cups chicken or veggie broth
08 - 1 cup dry orzo

→ Additions

09 - Salt and pepper, toss in as needed
10 - 1/4 cup fresh basil, ripped up
11 - 2 cups baby spinach
12 - 1/2 cup parmesan, grated
13 - 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
14 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice
15 - 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Take it off the burner. Mix in the parmesan, spinach, and basil. Pop a lid on till it's a bit thicker.
02 - Drop in the broth and cream. Let it bubble for around 10 minutes. Give it a good stir so the orzo doesn't stick.
03 - Toss the onion into oil and butter, let it soften for a few minutes. Put in garlic, all your spices, tomatoes, lemon juice, mustard, and finally orzo.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Great for a main or a side—it does both
02 - Stick with oil-soaked sun-dried tomatoes
03 - Pour in more liquid if it gets too thick
