→ For Cooking & Serving

09 - Fresh parsley, in case you’d like to throw some on top
10 - Some veggie oil for frying everything up
11 - Grab some tartar sauce or malt vinegar for dipping or pouring

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Turn your oil up, toss the fries back in for another 2-3 minutes, then sprinkle salt while they’re hot and crispy.
02 - Season your fish strips, dip them in the batter, let the extra drip off, then fry at 375°F for about 4-5 minutes till they’re crunchy and golden.
03 - Stir together the flour, baking powder, paprika, salt, and cold bubbly water. Whisk it smooth with no lumps left.
04 - Warm up your oil to 325°F. Drop fries in, one batch at a time, for 4–5 minutes. Don’t brown them—just make them soft. Scoop onto paper towels to dry.
05 - Rinse off starchy stuff from the fries, then pat them super dry using some paper towels.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Toss in half cornstarch and half all-purpose flour if you want the coating lighter
02 - Bubbly fizzy water makes the fish batter puff up and get crispier
