Ube Oats (Printable Version)

Super simple ube coconut oats. Perfect for days when you need breakfast, fast.

# What You'll Need:

01 - More toppings: extra ube halaya, a splash of condensed or evaporated milk, yogurt, fresh fruit, nuts, granola, or seeds
02 - Coconut flakes for topping (if you want)
03 - A splash of vanilla (if you like)
04 - 2 teaspoons of sweet stuff (try honey, agave, date syrup, or maple)
05 - 1 teaspoon chia seeds
06 - 2 tablespoons evaporated milk (totally up to you)
07 - Half a cup of whatever milk you like (plant-based is cool)
08 - A quarter cup of coconut milk
09 - Half a cup of rolled oats
10 - Either 2 big spoonfuls of ube halaya or about 3/4 teaspoon ube extract

# Steps to Follow:

01 - When you wake up, give those oats a nice stir. If you want it smoother, splash in more milk. Toss on whatever sounds good—berries, bananas, nuts, an extra hit of ube halaya, or some coconut for fun. Coconut with condensed milk is tasty if you've got a sweet tooth.
02 - Snap the lid on and stick the whole thing in the fridge for at least 6 hours, or just leave it overnight.
03 - Drop your oats in next. Make sure they're covered by the mix and everything's mixed together.
04 - Start by chucking your ube halaya or extract, coconut milk, other milk, chia, sweetener, and a bit of vanilla if you'd like into your jar. Stir it all up so everything's blended nicely.
