Effortless Chicken in Wine (Printable Version)

Juicy chicken with bacon and mushrooms in a white wine cream, all poured on buttery parmesan pasta.

# What You'll Need:

→ Chicken and Bacon

01 - Flour for dredging
02 - Salt and pepper to taste
03 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - 2 large chicken breasts, halved lengthwise
05 - 5-6 strips bacon, cut into pieces

→ Sauce

06 - 3/4 cup heavy cream
07 - 1/2 cup Riesling wine
08 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
09 - 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
10 - 7 ounces cremini mushrooms, sliced
11 - 2 tablespoons butter

→ Pasta (Optional)

12 - 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan
13 - 2 tablespoons butter
14 - 8 ounces spaghetti

# Steps to Follow:

01 - After chicken and bacon get tossed back into your pan, let everything heat together for about 5 minutes. Chicken should cook through. Scoop it up with the pasta, if you want.
02 - Toss mushrooms in melted butter. Pour in your garlic, then wine. When everything simmers, add cream and let it thicken up nicely.
03 - Dust chicken with flour and a little seasoning. Sear it in the bacon drippings, about 4-5 minutes each side, until you see a nice golden color.
04 - Crisp up bacon pieces in your pan. Pull out the bacon but leave two or three spoonfuls of the fat in there.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Works with or without some noodles
02 - Don’t overdo the salt since bacon brings plenty
03 - Try to have the pasta done when the chicken’s ready
