Creamy Chicken Penne (Printable Version)

Rich, cheesy pasta loaded with tender chicken, crispy bacon, and ranch flavor. This comforting meal comes together in about 35 minutes!

# What You'll Need:

01 - 10 ounces of penne pasta.
02 - 8 strips of bacon, diced.
03 - 1½ pounds of cubed chicken breast (1-inch pieces).
04 - Half a yellow onion, chopped small.
05 - 3 cloves of garlic, chopped finely.
06 - 2 cups of chicken stock.
07 - 1 cup of sour cream.
08 - 4 ounces of cream cheese.
09 - A single packet of ranch seasoning mix.
10 - 1 teaspoon of salt.
11 - 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper.
12 - 2 teaspoons of dried parsley.
13 - 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese.
14 - Chopped green onions for garnish.

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Cook the pasta until al dente. Pour it into a colander, rinse under cool water, and leave to the side.
02 - In a pot, fry up the bacon bits till crunchy. Scoop them out and drain on a paper towel.
03 - Keep a little bacon grease in the pot. Toss in the chicken pieces with the salt and pepper and let them brown.
04 - Throw in the onion and cook till soft. Add garlic and stir for about a minute.
05 - Mix in the chicken stock, cream cheese, sour cream, ranch mix, and bacon. Season and bring to a soft boil, then turn the heat down.
06 - Stir in the cheddar and pasta. Let it simmer for a few moments until it's bubbly.
07 - Sprinkle sliced green onions on top, serve it hot, and enjoy.
