Toss salt, flour, sugar, cinnamon, and baking powder into one bowl. Stir until blended, then set them aside for later.

Mash bananas with a fork in a bowl. Mix in the egg and pour in milk. Whisk together until smooth.

Combine the dry mix into the wet one. Stir gently until it’s all blended. Throw in the chocolate chips and mix lightly. A few lumps are fine.

Spread butter on a hot pan over medium heat. Scoop about ¼ cup of batter for each pancake. Let them cook for 2 minutes or until you see bubbles and the bottom turns golden. Flip and do the same on the other side.

Take pancakes off the heat when done. Keep going with the rest of the batter.

Stack pancakes on a plate. Cover them with sliced banana, sprinkle some extra chocolate chips, and drizzle maple syrup on top. Serve right away while warm.
