Cheesy Sprouts Gratin (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
02 - 2 tablespoons butter
03 - 2 dozen Brussels sprouts, sliced in half and cleaned up

→ Cheese & Cream

04 - 1/2 cup heavy cream
05 - Salt and pepper to your liking
06 - 1 cup Gruyère cheese, freshly shredded
07 - 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated fresh
08 - 1 clove garlic, large, finely chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F. Clean and slice the sprouts in half, then grate the cheeses.
02 - Cook the sprouts in butter and oil for about 8 minutes on the stove until they’re golden brown.
03 - Take off the heat. Mix in the garlic, cream, and about half of the Gruyère cheese.
04 - Sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top. Bake for 15-20 minutes until bubbly and tender.

# Notes:

01 - Broil briefly if you want the top extra crisp
02 - Serve it hot so the cheese stays gooey
03 - If you don’t have an ovenproof pan, use a baking dish instead
