# Ingredients:

→ Meatballs

01 - 1 pound ground chicken
02 - 1 egg
03 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
04 - 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko style)
05 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
07 - Pepper to your liking
08 - 1 cup grated parmesan, split in half
09 - 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

→ Cooking & Topping

10 - 2 cups mozzarella, shredded
11 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
12 - 24 ounces marinara sauce from a jar

# Instructions:

01 - Set oven temperature to 375°F. Combine meatball ingredients, keeping half the parmesan aside. Shape into small balls, about an inch across.
02 - Warm up oil in a skillet that can go in the oven. Cook meatballs in batches for roughly 5 minutes per batch until nicely browned.
03 - Add the marinara to the skillet first, then return the browned meatballs on top. Sprinkle the rest of the parmesan and pile on the mozzarella.
04 - Slide it into the oven for about 15 minutes, making sure the meatballs cook through. If you want the cheese to get golden, broil it briefly.

# Notes:

01 - A meat thermometer can check for doneness.
02 - Meatballs should hit 165°F internally.
03 - You can broil the cheese to brown it.
