Cheesy Ravioli Bake (Printable Version)

Frozen ravioli, beef, and marinara with four cheeses make a warm, filling pasta bake perfect for the whole family.

# What You'll Need:

→ Meat and Pasta

01 - 1 pound of ground beef
02 - 1 pack (25 oz) of frozen cheese-filled ravioli

→ Cheeses and Sauce

03 - 1 cup of ricotta cheese
04 - 1 cup of cottage cheese
05 - 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
06 - 2 cups of mozzarella, shredded
07 - 1/2 a cup of sour cream
08 - 1/2 a cup of grated Parmesan

→ Spices and Fresh Ingredients

09 - Salt and pepper for seasoning
10 - 1 tsp of dry oregano
11 - Chopped parsley for topping
12 - 1 tbsp olive oil
13 - 1 tsp of dry basil
14 - 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Start by preheating the oven to 350°F (175°C). Warm olive oil in a big pan and cook minced garlic until you smell it
02 - Cook the ground beef until it's no longer pink, drain the fat, and mix in marinara, salt, pepper, oregano, and basil. Let it simmer for 5 minutes
03 - In a bowl, stir together ricotta, cottage cheese, sour cream, and 1 cup of the mozzarella
04 - Grease a 9x13-inch pan, then add layers: meat sauce, half the ravioli, the cheese blend, the rest of the ravioli, meat sauce, and finish with mozzarella and Parmesan
05 - Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then bake uncovered for another 10-15 minutes until the cheese has melted and is golden. Sprinkle parsley on top before serving

# Additional Notes:

01 - You can prepare it in advance and store it in the fridge. Swap ground beef with mushrooms or sautéed spinach for a vegetarian option
