Best Krispie Bars (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (pure)
02 - 16 ounces mini marshmallows, split into two portions
03 - 6 cups crispy rice cereal
04 - 6 tablespoons butter with salt

# Instructions:

01 - Cover the bottom of a 9-inch square dish with parchment paper.
02 - On low heat, melt the butter and mix in all but a cup of marshmallows. Stir until smooth.
03 - Take off heat, mix in vanilla. Toss in cereal and the marshmallows you set aside.
04 - With damp fingers, gently spread into the dish. Wait an hour before slicing.

# Notes:

01 - Fresh marshmallows work better
02 - Don’t press too hard so treats stay soft
03 - Use gluten-free cereal if needed
