Cover the bottom of a 9-inch square dish with parchment paper.

On low heat, melt the butter and mix in all but a cup of marshmallows. Stir until smooth.

Take off heat, mix in vanilla. Toss in cereal and the marshmallows you set aside.

With damp fingers, gently spread into the dish. Wait an hour before slicing.
