Bang Bang Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Bang Bang Sauce

01 - 2 tablespoons honey
02 - 1 teaspoon Sriracha
03 - 1/2 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
04 - 1 cup mayonnaise

→ Chicken Coating

05 - Chopped parsley for garnish
06 - Canola oil for frying
07 - 2 cups plain panko breadcrumbs
08 - 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
09 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
10 - 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
11 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
12 - 1 tablespoon Sriracha
13 - 1 large egg, room temperature
14 - 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
15 - 1/2 cup cornstarch
16 - 1 cup buttermilk
17 - 1 1/2 pounds chicken tenderloins

# Instructions:

01 - Stir together the honey, Sriracha, mayo, and sweet chili sauce. Set it aside for later.
02 - Combine the egg, buttermilk, flour, Sriracha, cornstarch, and spices in a bowl. Dunk the chicken in to coat.
03 - Take the chicken from the batter and press breadcrumbs firmly onto each piece.
04 - Warm the oil to 365°F. Cook the chicken for 2-3 minutes per side until it hits 165°F inside.
05 - Let the chicken rest on paper towels. Toss it in the sauce, then sprinkle some parsley on top.

02 - Keep the oil hot while cooking
03 - Make the sauce less or more spicy as you like
